The areas we will be covering in the session are:
- Recap of revised standards or guidance already applicable
a. ISA 600 (Revised) – Special considerations – Audits of group financial statements (including the work of component auditors)
b. ISA 315 (Revised) – Identifying and assessing the risk of material misstatement
c. ISA 540 (Revised) – Auditing accounting estimates and related disclosures
d. Quality Management Standards
e. IRBA rule – Enhanced auditor reporting for audits of financial statements of public interest entities (PIEs)
f. Revisions related to technology in the IRBA Code of Professional Conduct for registered auditors - Standards or guidance becoming effective
a. Revisions to the definitions of a listed entity and of public interest entities (PIEs) in the IRBA Code of Professional Conduct for registered auditors
b. IRBA’s four rules issued under the International Standards on Quality Management
