Mariëtte is a Chartered Accountant and Business Lead at Altimax, where she leads the firm’s professional practices, quality management and training work for audit firms, professional bodies and public sector institutions. Ethics forms the centre of that work. She has designed and presented ethics training for auditors and accountants since 2012, and she spends much of her time with audit firms assisting them to build systems of quality management in which the ethical requirements of the IRBA Code are actually lived, monitored and remediated.
