Course outline:
IASB issues a major update to the IFRS for SMEs Accounting Standard
The IASB issued the third edition of the IFRS for SME Accounting Standard on 27 February 2025.
This update will affect most entities applying the standard. The new standard is effective for annual periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027.
This session explores the significant changes made to the Standard with specific focus on new accounting principles affecting recognition, measurement and disclosure and how you need to get ready for the implementation phase.
